Perfect for beginners! Each participant will use between 100 to 300 tiny, 2mm Miyuki or Czech glass beads, carefully selected to complement their design. This session is all about having fun while appreciating the artistry behind Peranakan beadwork. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a small, handcrafted piece to take home—a perfect keepsake or a meaningful handmade gift!
Shoe Workshop (1 session, 2-3 hours)
Looking for a challenge? This hands-on session introduces you to the intricate craft of Nyonya beading, where you'll learn traditional stitching techniques to create stunning patterns on shoe uppers. Each participants will use between 6,000-10,000 tiny, 2mm Miyuki or Czech glass beads. Which means that you have to take back your design and complete it after the workshop.
Even if you're a beginner, this class is perfect for you! The best part? Once you complete your beaded upper, you’ll have your very own handcrafted pair of shoes.
Choose your own colors, bead your design, and watch your creation come to life with your own hands! By the end of the session, you’ll have learned how to craft a beaded piece, ready to be transformed into a unique pair of handmade shoes.
